Bishop Valerian D'Souza encourages us to Launch Out Into the Deep - Duc In Altum.  These are the words Pope John Paul II uses to begin his encyclical on the New Millennium.  After Peter had fished all night and caught nothing, Jesus told him to launch into the deep and put out his nets for a big catch.
