Blessed are You, Lord God,
who cause the earth to sprout
with every kind of flower and bush and tree,
each pleasing to the sight and fruitful.

Blessed are You, Lord God,
who for love of us sent your Son,
that our salvation might sprout from the tree of the cross,
restoring to us the innocence and joy of of your lost paradise.

In this holy season,
we ask that you bless this tree.
May it be a sign for us of your everlasting love.

Bless us, as well,
the living branches grafted onto the stock of Your Son,
that we may bear the fruit of good works,
and ever praising you, eternal God,
who live and reign forever and ever.  Amen
